Trewavas, then and now – a short history and a pictorial record of the iconic houses perched on the cliffs above Mounts Bay

Directions to the venue: Drive to the King Edward Mine Museum site, Troon, TR14 9HW. Beware of local road closures near Troon, and also narrow lanes if you come via Brea/lanes to the east of the site. Park (free of charge) in the large car park on the left as you drive in. Then walk towards the Croust Hut café and at the café, bear right into the group of offices/workshops. The RGSC room has blue wooden doors.
